Installed my G-Code holster & mount on my duty belt. It was a chore with the hook & loop situation on the rigger belt, but I got it done...only to realize I don't like the position for the pistol draw. It's just a little too high relative to my BALCS carrier. I could work with it, but I'd rather not. Now, to order the other belt mount that my gut told me all along was the right one. Should have followed my gut! At least their 20% off discount code is still good.

Not even sure they carry them now I have two of the RTI mounts on two different belts. I almost always end up wearing the regular molle combination. The drop is nicer for the draw but you can’t sit with it. I also keep the right side of my plate carrier clean Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For a while I had both the molle RTI and the drop on the same belt so I could move it up and down... Not totally sure it’s a bad idea but was questionable enough that I stopped doing it More gear. More gear is always the answer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Finished the hunter safety course.
As with almost every real-world certificate class I've taken, I can already tell that there will be some things touted by the class that will not actually be relevant in the real world.

Mounted a new Vortex 3-12X-40 scope on the youngest son's new Win 70 30-06. Plan to zero it today at the range.

We got out and shot today.
Shot a few groups out to 225 yards, off the tripod with less than stellar rear support, with the SPR.
Ran some pistol drills, including "Ten Round Assault Course" and "3M Test".
Life is good!

Well it was yesterday. I scored a new new HK VP9L-B Marksman actually had one in stock that was suprise #1 and #2 with everyone bumping the prices up it was actually a fair price. I'll add a picture when the 10 days are up. This is the model that has the button mag release and cut for rmr or other red dots. Should be a great shooter!

Picked up a set of Trijicon Bright & Tough Suppressor Height sights for my Glock 45 from Midway. I'll order a threaded barrel in the next couple weeks and then it will be off to the races.
This will be paired with a CGS Mod 9 (currently in jail) and a Rugged Obsidian 9 for (relatively) quiet range fun.
