Finished this up. Well, save for the optic, the jury is still out on what I want to put on it.
I'll be doing a review of the hand guard after I've used it for a month or so.

UPS man brought me a 7.5" AR 9mm upper and 5 Colt style 32rd stick mags.

Finished cleaning the cosmoline off the shooter grade M48 Mauser I ordered from Aim Surplus. Boy was that a chore. Got it all put back together though. Hardest part was getting that damn spring steel front sight hood back on.

Also ordered some 7.5x55 Swiss from sgammo since they finally got some back in stock. Looking forward to shooting my K31 for the first time.

Got some Privi. Had a stock watch on it and have been waiting for weeks. Hopefully some day some surplus comes back in stock so I can pick some up as well.

ordered qty 100 1/16" roll pins (min order) and a 1/16" Hi-Roc drill bit for pinning the firing pin channels on 10/22 bolts

Found out (earlier this week actually) - My Altamont Blackhawk grips are made to order and won't ship for a couple weeks. I'm not so cranky about that, and they were super pleasant on the interweb email thingie.

yesterday: pinned my 10/22 bolt, then cleaned up the firing pin and extractor, then polished and jeweled the bolt

today: rust blued an SMLE magazine and the front sight for a .22 rifle
