Do you ever shoot offhand?
Hahah, sometimes. I just find it isn`t quite as stable as I like being but now and again you`ll find a pic of me shooting offhand. I usually do so with pistols.

I got the order of grips from Altamont. They sent the wrong grips. Ugg. These are white and the material is excellent. But completely the wrong patern. I have emailed them.

Scheduled a sightin session with my new optic at my grandfather`s farm. He`s got a pretty nice setup for sighing in optics out to 250 yards or so. Can`t believe I hadn`t thought of that earlier.

For the first time since 2012 I've got some .22 LR in hand! Was never willing to pay the exorbitant prices online and always was out of luck running into it locally. I guess I'll have to start rationing myself to make it last.

Was at my Grandfather`s farm earlier today, trying to sight in my new Vortex Crossfire II in 2-7x32. Sadly we didn`t have any real stable position to shoot from and my attempt here to rest the rail on an ammo can ended with the discovery of a small raise in the earth between our position and our target. This was the first time this upper had ever been fired and it shot wonderfully, sadly the adjustable gas block kept us essentially making the AR a straight-pull bolt action. Will have to fix that and try again. Please excuse the potato image quality, I`m surprised I even got pics with a busted ass iPod camera. Anyone want to try their hand at removing a Seekins SAR rail and adjusting the gas block?

Does the gas block adjust from the front or side? How hard is it to take off the handguards?

It adjusts from the side and it`s a real bitch to take the handguards off. I`m used to crap, not high end Seekins/SAA/Custom stuff!

Shot my new old S&W 3000 for the first time about 10 minutes ago with some cheap, crappy Estate shells. Even with that crappy ammo:
Note to self: Find a better stock for recoil absorption. Also noticed I need a haircut and got more proof that I sometimes shoot offhand.
