I'll be 60 this summer. I feel like an animal. If some of you fatties drop some weight, work in a woman friendly environment, jazzercise, save and invest, and live right you can make it to geezerdom as well.
Seriously assholes, 60 is not that old. WTF?! Paul! You don't look as old as me? and Fatty? (my Carharts are size 34) Jazzercise? Maybe its all the estrogen in your ovaries that's keeping you young?

They won't sell to anyone under 21 for a long time prior to the last shooting, and now they are caving into the "high capacity" histaria. They never sold AK's since they are the weapon of the "enemy". No sales tax, shitty selection. Haven't shopped at the commissary for along time since I can get twice the food for a $100 at WINCO. The PX/Commissary benefits are long gone.

The commissary is a bit of a gamble, but here's something. My wife works for a major national grocery chain as does her sister (and her other sister works for a competitor). Both have stated that the prices at the commissary are pretty good, especially for the meats. It's just a bit of a drive.
AKs I can actually understand since there are a number of people, both older and younger who have fits about AKs. Easier to not drive those customers away since their customer base is limited.
They still had a number of "hi-cap" mags on the shelf last Monday. Running out of AR mags, but that could have been from the panic buying that was happening at the same time because even some of the major online retailers and distributors were out of 30rd AR mags.

Chester, the commissary had only one item cheaper than safeway. With the surcharge, and the "tip" for the baggers the commissary is easily 25% more than WINCO. I will never buy on base again. The price for meats on base are about the same as WINCO, but then there's the "surcharge/tax". As much as I hate to say it there are very few military "benefits".
