Hi Guys,

Just complete a build with Rainier for a pistol 300 blk and need help with the adjustable gas block. I would use Rainier but it's too far to drive down, etc... especially with traffic and going there on the weekend is just too busy. Any recs for a good gunsmith in the Eastside/Bellevue area?

Thanks!

I use Jody at Rehv Arms in Covington, but if Rainier is too far he probably is too.

Help with the adjustable gas block how? Just tuning it? If you just need to tune it then grab the tools to adjust the gb, some plinker ammo, and head to a range. Turn the adjustment screw all the way closed (in, in most cases), load a single round into the magazine and fire. The gun will fire but not cycle. Open up the adjustment screw a 1/4 turn, load one round in the mag and fire. Repeat these steps until the bcg locks back on the empty mag. Now load 5 rounds and see if you can fire all five rounds without a failure. If you can, then repeat and make sure the gun fires consistently. If you have any cycling issues...open the adjustment screw an 1/8 turn and check cycling. Once you get the gun to fire and cycle consistently without issue...your GB is pretty much tuned. :thumbsup2:
