I own a little of everything when it comes to 9mm double stack guns. Of all I own and like to shoot the most has been a sig 226 in 9mm always works and very accurate. That being said I just went out and put a few round out of my new sig x carry 320 all I can say is wow Very impressed with the feel and accuracy and it never jammed or gave me any issues. I really like the modularity of the gun. Being able to buy all the different conversions makes it tempting to buy a full size kit in 357 sig.
Enough rambling you really can't go wrong with any of the guns mentioned here
I guess the next question is how mitch do you want to spend??

I used to have a Sig 226 Elite but I actually wore it out, great gun but now I am a CZ guy A little heads up about CZ's, if you plan on doing a trigger job ya pretty much want avoid the Omega. I've heard nothing flattering about the trigger even after being Cajunized. Pictured is a CZ 75B SAO (single action only) and my EDC which is a CZ RAMI 2075D Since the picture was taken both have been Cajunized. They went from great to AMAZING!

Hi-Power. Get that mag/trigger thing removed. 15+1.

The Glock 34.
Takes regular G17 mags, extra barrel length, better factory trigger.

Thanks, I clearly missed it. With that being said then, I'd look at a long slide. I really like the Glock 17L (or 34/35), but I've also rented and enjoyed the XDM 5.25. Canik has a TP9SF I think which might fit the bill, as might a Walther PPQ long-slide. I personally like longslide polymer guns, but I'm sure there are long slide metal ones out there too.
