Yes, it does look very nice!

But . . . no attachment for a traditional sling stud? :cussing:

I'm still not clear on whether or not you can lock out the cant at an arbitrary angle like a Harris BRM-S.

It's a little odd that they are going to make it with the 17s base. Seems like all that gets you is the ability to buy a quick release picatinny mount from someone else. Having to add two adapters between the bipod and the rifle is a step backwards, but that's the only way to make it quick release for a rifle without a picatinny hand guard.

Looks like the friction knob on the bottom will lock the pan but not the tilt.

Quote:
An industry-exclusive 50° of total tilt and 40° of total pan are controlled by a glove-friendly knurled tool-less bipod locking knob located between the extended legs, allowing easy adjustment between shots. Additionally, the Magpul Bipod has the exclusive ability to lock pan at 0° while maintaining full tilt functionality.

The tilt is locked out by rotating the bipod 180 degrees (I think)

But can you lock it at an arbitrary angle like if you're shooting off an uneven surface.

No clue (yet), but it looks like each leg can be deployed to different heights if you are working on a Left-to-Right uneven area.

Looks interesting. For the price its a nice option that for sure. I do like my harris bipod but might have to pick one up to compare the two

That's my impression, I'll stick to a Harris BRM-S. The only major issue with the harris is the damn mounting system (sling nut). I've seen aftermarket replacements to go to picatinny but they cost almost as much as the whole bipod.

Sheesh, just got the email this morning that they released the bipod.

Mlok and picatinny versions are sold out already.

The ARMS 17s version is still available:
