Are there any (somewhat) local opportunities to renew a non-resident Oregon CHL?

I know the Sheriff's deputy would visit Portland and Vancouver often, and I'm wondering if they ever have a presence up between Olympia and Seattle.

They haven't been up here in a while if I recall correctly. We have all just driven down to Columbia County.

Holy cow! Just found out that the sheriff's office is 6.5 hours away! Wow. That's a steep commitment for a weekday--not just time but gas and miles!

The Columbia County office in St. Helens shouldn't be more than 4 hours from you, max. Really, it's probably closer to 3-3.5 hours from south Seattle. You'll need an appointment during the week (they were booking several months out last time I checked) or go down for one of their free-for-all Saturdays.
