They call them retrograde. Reproduction police and military shotguns from old designs. Look really cool!

I've never owned a shotgun, but I would like to get a Rem 870 police with walnut stocks, for fun. This may make me reconsider that daydream.

Suggested retail on the 590A1 is $904.00.

But, you get a heavy barrel, Parkerized finish, real sights, and 9 shot capacity with standard shells.

The police version goes for $500.00. 8 shot capacity.

Mossberg would be a great shotgun if they would slick up their action. They feel like rock crushers to me

They are tight when new. Just work 'em...eventually the steel smooths out the aluminum.

Will they be made to the original quality standards? Definite difference between the new Mossbergs and ones from a decade or more back. The new ones function fine but those older shotguns, mmmmm, like buttah.

I like the idea of a retro shotgun, but no pump can beat the action on my FN-p12 pump for real world use.

How can this be legal, it has the shoulder-thing-that-goes-up?

That's real nice. I saw some on GB with extended tubes for $550 or so, brand new.
