No, it's july 1st that this happens. It's supposed to be the day that 18-20 year olds can't buy them. But the part of 1639 that defines "assault weapons" doesn't take effect until july 1st, so even the 18-20 yo part is not effective. There's a few shops that do not follow this crap initiative due directly to that. |

I grew up in Pearl back in the mid 60s, lots of people down there. Also went through Hurricane Camille back in 69, I fear tornadoes and hurricanes worse than earthquakes. |
