A suggestion?

I understand the desire to comp the gun...but you really don't want top ports unless it is for a competition gun.

If this is for a carry gun I'd suggest something along the lines of a Glock 19X, with a side-ported compensator.

You do NOT want to shoot a top-comped pistol under any kind of light fixture.

Don't ask me how I know.....

I am going to change the way i ask this question. is there a 02 sot or 07 manufacture that has a glock 18c that is willing to measure the ports and slide for me and give me the info. or have a old shot out barrel that i can rent to measure, and return when i am done.

thanks

Greg

That was the old school way to do it. If you're looking for a way to bleed off a lot of power from factory ammo while blasting debris up in front of your face, that'll do the job. If you're just wanting to make the gun shoot flatter without compromising what comes out the muzzle, you're better off buying a threaded barrel and a good muzzle brake.
