 RBS Ammo??

Was up at Skagit doing a transfer (new-to-me Beretta 9mm PX4 Type C) and saw the RBS "factory." I bought a box of 9mm 115 gr. tmj reman to try out and paid $15 or so.

It shot ok in the Beretta (I had it mixed with some Sellier 124 gr. fmj).

My question is: Is there anything "special" about this ammo? I can get decent new 9mm via the internet at least $4.00 a box less, no 10% tax, and minimal shipping if I take advantage of sales.

I like the idea of supporting local business and that would be my only reason for buying it, unless I'm missing something.

That looks like reman ammo that isn't anything special

If they had a bulk price for a big box of it like Washougal it might be worth it

I shot plenty of RBS in the past. Not so much lately. Seemed OK.

$15 for a box of 9mm? How many in the box?? They USED to have good prices.

I used to buy their stuff years ago when it was cheap and factory ammo was expensive or unobtainable. Now days I can get better deals on better ammo very easily. I did have a couple of squib rounds from them, if I recall, and it made me nervous to buy more.

50 in the box (loose) and I had no idea it was reman until it went to throw the box out.

I asked the girl behind the counter there for a box of 9mm, that's what she handed me and I never even looked as they told me it was 115 gr. I usually shoot 124 or 147 but that was all they had.

Probably my last box....not because it was bad, but it's just less expensive elsewhere (for new!).

They are part owner of the shooting range then at least they use to be when it first opened. I use to buy ammo there but not any more. I load my own.
They load for a shit load of law enforcement practice ammo. I use to see them there all the time. But I stopped going to the shooting range when they got real low on guns for sale. They use to give you a free pass for the shooting range when you bought a gun. I gave a shitload of them passes away. I dont shoot at indoor ranges.
