I got an email the other day from classic firearms stating that they no longer have restrictions on mags for cali and they are able to buy anything on the sight.

Yeah, looks like a lot of online retailers are trying to attract CA buyers for mags (PSA, Brownells, etc.). And it looks like they're pricing accordingly, too...

Brownells reportedly sold 350,000 mags. They probably aren't the largest, either. Amazing what 20 years' of pent up demand can do.

Just got an update from a CA buddy. Apparently an Appeal was filed Monday. There will be a stay on that ruling starting as of 5pm Fri 4/5/2019 pending the results of the appeal process.

this warms my heart, millions of magazines flowing into the hands of patriots behind enemy lines.....

I love how they accurately refer to them as Standard Capacity magazines.

From the comments below ^ that article : Quote: If magazine capacity is an issue why not let everyone carry a snubnose revolver?...Or a 19th Century Philadelphia derringer? One bullet or ball and your mass shooter goes down if [even] one out of every ten people could just legally be armed. The police cannot protect you - that's why we have guns. Boom. ([even] added by me for emphasis.)

Senior US District Judge for the Southern District of California Roger T. Benitez recently eviscerated the long-standing California law banning large capacity magazines. He should be applauded for his efforts in protecting the Second Amendment. His ruling is suspended until a likely en banc review of it by the Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals reviews the ruling, and may end up for review with the SCOTUS. I suspect that the overturned California law was the blueprint for many of the myriad of similar types of proposed laws that are attempts to dismantle the Second Amendment. I would suggest that the next time we start grousing about the judiciary legislating from the bench, we need to be mindful of the actions of this Federal court judge in helping to keep things straight and legal.
God Bless the Republic !!
