Check Cashed: 3-18-20
Did I really just wait over 9 months just to “start” my wait period for approval?

That's . . . weird.
Is there anything more to the story?

Yeah, you might want to call and ask about that on Monday. That’s really weird.

I don’t think there’s anything else to the story that I know of. I used the kiosk at SSG and had them do everything for me. However last week I kept getting an email that said my photo was not in compliance and to re-upload, which I did and then just two days ago I got the message that the check has been cashed. But I’ve been waiting the entire time since June 3 and thought my period was almost already up but here it is looking like I might have just started?

Mine was a special order at SSG, but I had a delay there as well. They only delayed 1 month to process my order. ATF cashed my check a month later. Sounds like yours was much worse... I'm not sure why they wait to process special orders. Especially that long!

Wow, wtf. I’d call and harass someone. That’s a terrible beginning for your stamp collection.

Agreed. Sorry to hear about this. Turns what is already a nearly intolerable wait into a real pisser. My first two cans took 11 months in process. My third can was picked up about a week ago and was cleared in five months. In general, Form 4 trust application approval times seem to be trending significantly downward. https://www.nfatracker.com/nfa-transfer-time-tracking/

Wow, no kidding. I'm at 89 days since the check was cashed. There is quite a cluster running around 100 days, so though delayed, 5he OP may not have too long to wait.
