So, I filled out the online E form app to build a Form 1 suppressor, and got an email that says APPROVED. So far so good. The email has an attached .pdf file of my application and a photocopy "stamp" on it. So my question is - is that it? Is the pdf the "required paperwork" that would need to be shown to prove legality of the can once built, or does ATF send something a little more official? Thanks guys, you know I need all the help I can get.

Short answer, yes, you're done. Build your can now.

You are good to go. Next step is to have the tube engraved with required info before assembling the can of drilling baffles.

Yeah, what they said.

I print two copies of it, one to put in the binder with my trust and one to put in my range bag, to add to it’s already considerable weight. Then I save the PDF on the computer, which syncs to the cloud and is accessible by my phone, so I can pull it up on the phone as needed.

Am I paranoid? Quite possibly.

This is EXACTLY what I did before I decided to ask the resident gurus. Thanks for the replies guys.

BTW, it took 6 weeks but there was a SNAFU with the processing system and "they" also told me Covid was causing about a 2 week delay. YMMV.
