Which Gun Trust type? NW GunLaw Group

I am planning on the purchase of suppressors and SBRs and is looking at the various Gun Trust plans offered by NorthWest Gun Law Group. They showed a comparison chart but many of the terms are unfamiliar to me.

https://nwgunlawgroup.com/gun-trusts/co ... -versions/

I have emailed NW GunTrust Group but thought I should get some input from folks here as well.

For my family, it'll be just my wife and I who are shooters. We do not have any children or any other family members here in WA, and we do not plan on passing down the NFA items. And no, you cannot call dibs on my guns and NFA stuff. :wink05:

Given the above, will their Bronze plan work for me or should I upgrade to their Silver plan? One of the items listed is "Allows naming of Co-Trustees (who can have access to NFA Firearms)", is this referring to allowing my wife access to NFA items such as suppressors and SBRs?

Thanks.

Just get the new upgraded Bronze trust for your situation, you can add others if you want to.

So this is a hard thing to relate but I will use an analogy.

Think insurance in your teens. No teen thinks they needs insurance.
Think in your late 20’s. Maybe when I get older.
Think in your 30’s to 40’s with a family. Heck. I need insurance.
If you made it to your 50’s and beyond. Hell it’s almost useless to get insurance.

Insurance is all about getting it young and early but it’s lost on the young.

So a bronze is for someone young and starting out in Life. Maybe get one or maybe 2 NFA items but don’t care about the future - like who it goes to etc.

Silver is your 30-40’s. I want something solid but not too expensive.

Gold or whatever is well I have lots and want to secure all those things plus now I’m planning for the future - future past me and I care how it goes to my offspring etc.

It’s all about cost and benefit. If one can afford the top tier there would be no issue. If you are planning one or 2 or 3. Bronze will work. If you are planning long term and collecting more later on Silver will be the best bang for the buck.

In life that’s called Lessons Learned…

Lol

Fortunately for many - there are many that like to share our lessons so others may learn from our mistakes and avoid the things we had to do to correct them.

That’s the true beauty of this community.

Also I highly recommend young people to get Whole Life Insurance in their 20’s. Because later in life insurance rates increase with age and medical conditions of becoming old. Get insurance while you are healthy, young and your rates are low and stay low.
