I have not submitted an application since 41F became part of the regs in 2016. I still have four form 1's to finish building for. How are the new regs for bkgd checks for responsible persons working out (for those with trusts) and sending a copy to the CLEO?

Anyone have a sheriff that is asking "what is this for?" when then send the copy of the application. I got that from the Mason County sheriff back in 2002 the first time I asked him to sign a form 1.

I've sent several to the King County Sheriff. I always put a Post-It on top, "This is FYI only, no action is required." I've never heard a peep. So I figure if King County doesn't make a fuss, the rest of y'all must be in good shape too. :bigsmile:

I use Silencershop, and I think they just send the F4 to a random name off the CLEO list for my state. For the three I've sent in, I have not gotten any response. My Nomad's notification went to the chief of WSP, I think.

RP questionnaire is EZ. And each of my Form 4 cans is on it's own trust, so I only ever do the questionnaire for myself, and I've only ever filled it out once. SS saved it for my second and third F4 cans. Had to roll my own for my F1 can.

Silencershop has been a huge help to making the NFA process easy. They really don't get enough credit for that.

The hold up is, the nfa process is so dumb..Nothing goes in order
I had a 4-18 check cashed date picked up a month ago

Form 1 SBR submitted today.... 11/28. Last one took 3 weeks from receipt of my print cards.

Picked up CGS Mod 9 and CGS Siren at Capitol Armory yesterday.
Purchased 6/12/2020
Form 4 Mailed 6/19/2020
Form 4 Approved 11/30/2020
Form 4 Received by Dealer 12/20/2020

Purchased a CGS Nautilus and the Form 4 was just mailed from dealer to ATF today. So it begins again...
Jorge at Capitol Armory mentioned he's seen Form 4 Trust approved from end of July this year already icon_eek
