I just checked the status on silencer shop and no updates since 2/23/2018 when the checks were cashed. No need to bother the guys at Rehv if I can just check the status online. They're always super fast about letting you know as soon as stamps come in. Oh I'm sure they will be right on top of it as soon as they're approved. I was just afraid they might hear my business voicemail message and think they had the wrong phone number. That's the only reason I responded the way I did. And calling them to double-check if they called doesn't interrupt the ATF at all.

Any luck yet with your stamp?

My Maxim9 stamp came in on Friday, like an hour after I was there checking on it. Purchased 2/1, check cleared 2/24, stamp arrived 9/7.

As the wise MadPick said. Relax. Go do something else. Make another baby. You don’t actually talk to examiners you talk to people who’s job it is to answer the phone and check statuses. Now you can request them transfer you to the examiner and talk to them if you want. Someone did that and posted on reddit and the examiner said the fbi is working on people stuck in fbi background check. They are currently working on people who entered that status in March. All the times I have called (granted, it's been a while since I now practice the do not disturb method), both Sandra Snook and Diane Wood have usually answered.

Interesting, I’ve called a couple times in the last couple months because I have 4 stamps in awaiting fbi background check and 2 of them are 8 months since check cashed for form 1.
