I submitted my form 4 applications for 2 suppressors at the beginning of February through silencer shop kiosk using the barcode system. The checks were cashed February 23rd. It's now over 6 months since submission and I've heard that most of these are only taking around 5 months. Should I call Rehv arms and see if they're ready yet? Or just keep patiently waiting for the phone call?
I don't want to be the annoying customer. I'm just concerned that they may have called already. The voice mail message on my personal cell phone is my business voicemail message. Afraid they may have already called and heard the business voicemail thinking that they got the wrong number. Am I overthinking this?

You've waited a good amount of time, so you won't be 'that customer'... Just tell them what you said here, your personal cell is your biz cell, and you wanted to make sure you didn't miss the call. If you call again the next day, then, you're that customer Good luck!

Lol, yeah, just mention you know of others that have gotten them, so that's why you thought you might have missed the call. You never know, they could have even tried & been off a digit when dialing...people make mistakes. I know my voicemail doesn't say my name, so... By the way, you're only annoying here when you don't type what I want you to, but that's pretty infrequent...

For all the talk that wait times are going down, I sure don't see any of it. It's hard to be patient, especially when there's really no good reason. But it is what it is. For now.

Yes, you would be that guy.
Relax. Go do something else. Give it a month or three.

Try calling the ATF. It seems like my stamp was approved immediately after I called and inquired about it. It's worth a try. They don't bite.

As soon as you call the ATF, then you stop an examiner from working on somebody else’s application, to look up yours. Now, multiply this by a couple thousand calls a day from people looking for updates and you wonder why it takes months to get a stamp back??
As the wise MadPick said. Relax. Go do something else. Make another baby.

They're always super fast about letting you know as soon as stamps come in.

I was just afraid they might hear my business voicemail message and think they had the wrong phone number.
