Any tips on making your hat cam? I've destroyed 2 hats so far and neither held the cam consistently well...

Good shooting! It was a difficult match but I enjoyed the stages and it flowed pretty good throughout the day. Great performance on Stage 8! I stepped too late and slowed myself more than I wanted to.

That stage with all of the side-by-side targets was pretty cool, where you moved past them as you shot!

What happened in that first stage when you couldn't eject? Was that a live round stuck in the chamber? Just a bad round, too big?

yeah this kind of stage requires some timing and it all depends on your skill level too. There are so many other ways to shoot them based on how confident you are.

Thanks man! It was my kind of stage.

I have two theories. Failure to extract, followed by a double feed when I tried to clear the malfunction, ramming the next round behind just sticks the case deeper into the chamber, making it stuck.

Second theory, is I use Froglube all over my gun and have been using it for years, all of a sudden i notice this yellow film forming all over my gun, I think it's some froglube residue that's hardened by heat or cold or something. It looks like rust but it's not, you can scrape it off, almost like dried cosmoline. I think there's some inside the chamber or somewhere on the gun. I just went through the gun and scraped and cleaned it like crazy and used Mobil 1 + Redline, aka Gunbutter. Hope I don't run into that problem again.

Froglube cleans well but it's biodegradable. Exposed to air, it will turn into what you discovered. Mobil 1 is great. I find cleaning a gun after it's been running with mobil one is usually a matter of wiping off the spent oil and re-lubing.
