There's something about the dirt/dust splashes that is very satisfying. 
It's funny when you hit the one-shot portion of the stage, and especially the single-handed single shots. The videos tend to have a certain cadence: BAM-BAM, BAM-BAM, BAM-BAM, BAM-BAM. When you got to the one-shot part, it was almost like the video had switched to slo-mo.
