It was a fun match and great weather today at the IDPA Match at Paul Bunyan in Puyallup. I think there was 56 shooters there today.

I was lucky enough to win my Division/Classification today

Congrats on the win, Damon!

Thanks for posting those pics and videos; those look like some interesting stages, and a lot of fun.

I've only done one IDPA match, but this inspires me to get back out there. Thanks for posting!

Ah, the dreaded "bong" echo from the barrels. :(

I'm intrigued by that stage where you lie down and shoot. I'm going to have to try that; I'll bet it's a lot harder than it looks, since your whole world goes sideways and up/down on the sights is no longer up/down on the target.

It wasn't really that bad. When I first saw that stage I thought it going to be pretty hard to do. But it was pretty uncomfortable lying on my side with my kydex OWB holster digging in....

My gun is a XD-9 Service, my do everything gun! :D

I use it as my EDC gun and use it in all my defensive handgun classes and competitions. I have been shooting IDPA on and off for the last 5 years and started shooting IPSC/USPSA a couple weekends ago.

My gun has a custom finish and trigger job done by Rich at Canyon Creek Custom http://www.canyoncreekcustom.com. It also has a Don's Guide Rod and TruGlo TFO sights.

For competitions I use a Blade Tech OWB holster. For EDC I use either a Kramer IWB #3 or a Kramer OWB Belt Scabbard holster. For mag pouches I use leather Don Hume single pouches. For EDC and IDPA I carry two on my belt and in IPSC/USPSA I carry five of them. I'll probably replace the mag pouches with some Blade Tech ones because all these years of using the leather ones have made them too loose to hold the mags very well.
