Any smallbore shooters interested in shooting NRA Hunter Pistol Targets at long range. Here's the info: http://seattlerifle.org/page-18149Me and my CZ 455 Precision Varmint Trainer will be there. If you can't be there, lets keep this thread alive with pictures of the cool rimfires you would have used. Bo

I'm taking the day off on Friday so I can get my dope for each of the distances (50m, 100m, 150m, and 200m). There's no real prize other than bragging rights but I want to win.

200 meters? Wow that is out of my skill set with a .22LR for sure. That sounds like fun.

what is your preferred ammo for match shooting, I know my 10/22 loves the wolf match stuff. I have tried the wolf match extra but did not see a difference.

I was shooting Wolf Match last Saturday at 200yds. 10" steel bullseye with 3" swinger in the center. Hit the center 25% of the time. Switched to Federal Automatch and it shot the same as the Wolf only louder and less affected by the wind; Wolf Match is subsonic and I shoot with a SilencerCo Spectre II. Wolf Match is preferred when I want to shoot for groups at 50yds. I'm going to stick with Federal Automatch for the match.
200yds wasn't as hard as I thought. I shot a rock in the berm roughly 203m and the drop between ~203m and 200yds was 1.5mils. How I know is I placed the swinger in line with the 200yd target stands. Reason I'm going out on Friday is the match coordinator told me where the target stands are going to be placed. Will be placing an 8" swinger at 200m, 6" Swinger at 150m, 4" swinger at 100m, and a 3" swinger at 50m. Hopefully get some good practice on Friday. Will probably get practice calling the wind too.
