Never made it. Gates were locked from the South side and didn't have time after exploring to find northern entrance. It sure is a nice drive though.

If so, that sucks. I've never approached from the south, but from the north, the road starts off as state land, and turns into federal land after a long while. I think there's a gate on the north end, too.

Yeah the spot you listed. From looking at maps there is at least two entry points Southside. One is Weyerhauser and the other state land. Both had gates. Did find a small little spot a few guys were shooting at on state land. Didn't seem concerned about it being closed. Once they got the tannerite out I knew it was time to go.

It's a drive. But it's gorgeous. And it's Federal at that point. Looking for a place to shoot that isn't crowded with ... Not so smart people... I see on google maps one road that comes from noth north-west off of south skagit highway. One road that comes from north east off of concrete sauk valley road. One final road coming from the south straight out of Oso off of N brooks creek road, which would be the most ideal way for me to go out of marysville. Do you know if any of those have gates?
