Greenwater shooting areas

Looks like 410 will be closed for a couple weeks now. The fire did a lot damage to the hillsides. Rocks and trees that are falling needing to be cleared out before they can reopen.

Is this place still doing well? Ranges are nice but the downside is there's multiple places for certain firearms so you can only shoot where its allowed. This place is free but the people going here got stupid...they don't think of gun safety at all.

Yep. Almost got cross-fired once there, so I don't go there anymore.

That is almost what happened. People would cut in front of the actual line of fire. They get high and drunk there. I've had at least 3-4 times that people were ok, the rest... shoot it only took one time of stupidity to not go back there. At some point we'll hear it on the news.

Has anyone been out to that 3rd pit, the F.S. 70 Spur 250 pit? I haven't but may come explore this summer.

Anyone has any update on this location or any other nearby pits? Read and copy the posts above, just wanted to know if it got better.
Silly me, I went to the NF7013 pit ( 47.117333, -121.587333 ) earlier today without checking first, and it is closed and has been so for a while now.
