I occasionally visit the area here and there but just recently thought about the hillside/mountains. Was wondering if folks knew of any areas or could at least point me in a general direction of some DNR land? Maybe even decent outdoor public ranges? Saw the one on the map but you have to be a member and no one day passes or anything

There is an established free use range on State property out Swakane Canyon Rd - FS 7415 Rd--that is operated by WDFW inside the boundary of the Chelan Wildlife Area. Please don't trash it as it's a bit of a unicorn for our state.
