The Medford pay is pretty cool, but the guys that live up near there are a little bit odd.

That brought memories of the Sultan Pit back. When it was still open for shooting I'd go there during the mid-week. After the first shot they's start showing up, carrying their cut open clorox jugs, etc. Some would get rather close and try to pick up your brass as soon as it hit the ground if you'd let them. Others would wander around downrange looking for expended bullets/jackets and you had to threaten to shoot anyway to get them back behind the firing line.

Word to the wise, don't ever turn your back on your firearms when people like this are around. Or your vehicle for that matter.

I got turned back last Tuesday due to snow but I was also in a 2wd piece of shit rental car.
I've never had to threaten anyone, but I make sure to stare hard at anyone not shooting and sitting watching me shoot. I make sure to ALWAYS have at least one loaded weapon, and I do wait to the end to pick up my brass (in part so as not to build in bad habits, and in part so they sit around for a couple hrs and then are disappointed :D ).

Good Evening!
Anyone going shooting tomorrow?
I want to check it out and have never been-new to the area.
Would be great to see/meet a friendly face.

Is it accessible and can someone please give me a description how to get there?

To my personal surprise it is is very difficult finding places to shoot and practice around Marysville... Did not expect this at all!

Thank you for you posts.
