need help finding a good place near Banks Lake

I'm headed to the Steamboat Rock State Park at Banks Lake this coming weekend with my oldest son and a few friends (and their sons). I'll be hosting the shooting clinic for the boys. Obviously I need a place to shoot. I'll be calling the State of WA DNR folks out there tomorrow morning, but I expect their typical not-so-helpful answers.
Soooooo... any thoughts on where to set up a range in the Steamboat Rock / Banks Lake area?

Just outside of Coulee City, about 1/4 mile or so is a HUGE open gravel pit. It can be accessed several ways.
There is also the Coulee City Shooting Club that permits access for such events as you are planning. Not sure if they charge for the use of the range or not but the can be contacted at:

Sweet, we go to Coulee City park a lot in the summer and I always bring the "package" but can never find a place around there to shoot.
Where is this pit? PM me ?
