Looks like a nice all-original example!

The best pictures are going to be with a real SLR, outdoors, and on an overcast day or late in the day (not direct sunlight). On a metal gun, catch the reflections at an angle. Plastic, don't really matter much.

If you shoot it and find that narrow grip isn't your style, get a Tyler T-Grip. On a K frame it'll look like this:
