The history of it is cool. I wouldn’t recommend drinking it, though. I could tell that the cork wasn’t sealed too well so I decanted it and transferred into a bottle with a better seal. Smells good, but tried a sip and it’s basically paint thinner at this point.

Fun to have in the collection, though.

Are you saying that that is not the original bottle for the whiskey that's in it? Or you just re-sealed the original bottle?

That’s the original bottle and still had the original whiskey when I took that pic. Since then, I’ve transferred the liquid to a basic, sealed glass bottle and kept the empty original.

Pour it through an activated charcoal filter a couple times and it'll be much improved. Like a Brita pitcher.
