Need more info! What's the short pistol?
I've been putting off diving into black powder because I abhor cleaning guns, but those are cool!

Left to right: LeMat .44/20 guage, AGC Diablo 12 guage, and a .44 1851 navy snub nose (and .45 lc conversion cylinder).

Them's awful purty.

These are really nice guns I can't stress that enough pieta has a pretty good product, and the 1851 Navy I bought from Taylor's, it is exceptionally sweet their gunsmiths do a nice job.

This could be a bad thing for me...financially. And damn the wood grips on that Diablo are impressive! What do those cost? I'm getting very interested, very quickly!

Hey now, slow your roll. The 1851 is pretty sweet I think that actually might become a carry gun. And actually it's not that bad financially I think the gun was like 350, and the conversion cylinder was damn near as much at 250.
And alas, I wouldn't get too excited those are not wood grips on the Diablo it is a synthetic grip.

Does the conversion cylinder require low-pressure .45 Colt loads?

Yes it says to use cowboy loads... The cylinder is fairly short, but I imagine anything that has a short enough O.A.L. is probably safe enough... Cylinder is hell bent for stout (no flutes/and 5 shots instead of six).
