Ive had this Robinson for some time now. If you are not familiar with the platform do a little reading, they are awesome!!! In fact if wasn’t for fedex delivery of blank adapters being late to the army trials, this would no doubt be the infantry primary platform. It’s amazing! Either way over the yrs is been black, fde, od green, back to fde and now ....Razorback ! A combo of metallic gold/green/purple! It’s a bit much I know, but shit so am I !! So hard to get a good idea of what it looks like in good light, the pics just don’t do it justice!!!!

Wow, very cool. That looks great!

Do you do the coating yourself? What kind of coating is it?

Dang . . . I looked at this thread this morning, on my phone. And I thought that rifle was cool.

Now I'm using the full computer monitor. WOW!

Thanks. What’s funny is when I first set out with Mike (SSG) to think of something cool to do with this we settled on the color but only as a base. The original plan was to put a black/grey Kryptek pattern over the top so the metallic would just be like the webbing and in a few spots. But once I got this base done........ just decided to keep it like this lol. It’s for sure an acquired taste and some (like my wife ) would say “sure,ok for an AR or something. You just ruined the XCR!” Lmao. I dig it!

If you dig it, all is good (I think it looks fine. Would go well with your sequined gown - I kid!)

Always wanted an XCR. (not painted in disco. Probably green if not blk)

I’m sure I could find the dress to match lol!!!
But seriously they are one of the smoothest shooting piston driven “ar” type rifles I’ve ever shot. And the ergonomics of it kick ass!! Bolt release being one of my favorite (think HK p30 mag release) . It’s been my go to rifle for years and will be for a long time!
