Any particular reason the rear sight elevation knob was assembled on the forward assist side?chevytruckman wrote:survivor wrote:Blackhawk Down inspired build .
80% lower , Colt A2 upper and charging handle, LaRue BCG, Armalite lower parts kit
, DSARMS Sstl barrel pined and wield, skinny 6 hole handgaurds, older Bushmaster aluminum CAR style stock.
Aimpoint 2000 red dot. Everything except the Aimpoint and gas tube were just parts I had a accumulated.
I'm still on the hunt for a reasonably priced colt N1 butt stock
And I owe TacticalAssault and TINCANBANDIT A big thanks for helping me keep things legal !
Curious on how this is a Blackhawk down themed rifle?

Actually they are both and both are on the wrong side. If it was done on purpose...so be it.Soldier_Citizen wrote:That's not the elevation knob, that's the windage. The elevation knob is the one that's on the bottom and build into the upper(and accessible from either side).
And most that I've seen are on the right side of the upper. Which is a pita for us lefties!

You are correct about the windage knob. I guess it has been soooo long since I saw a non flat top. But even you pics show the elevation wheel facing on the Left/non forward assist side.Soldier_Citizen wrote:Maybe you and I just aren't seeing the same thing. Cause it looks right to me
