stole the idea from a ktog thread, but it was fairly easy, and works great.
All but the mounting hardware came from amazon.com; got the washers screws & nuts from McLendon.
total cost was under $80, and only required 3 holes in the fore end.
with this mod, plus the stock extension, and rubber shroud and buffer from tacticool, it's way more fun to shoot.

Damn...that's pretty interesting. That's one thing those guns lack is a nice way to mount optics.

yeah, the stock sights suck hard.

this mod cost less than most sights, and seems to hold zero pretty well.
