So. I am trying my hand at a US Made AK again.

Frankly, it is a pretty fantastic rifle. Milled receiver, and the laminate wood is pretty damn good feeling.

Century C39 Sporter.

That is one sweet looking Rifle. That wood stock furniture is the best I have seen, nice! How does it shoot with that newer style muzzle break?
:bruce:

Now I want one :crybaby:

The above build shoots well.. That is 3 rounds at 93 yards, unmodified Bulgarian FCG (rate reducer removed and shimmed), just resting on the handguards and no superior effort. Barrel is AK Builder 5.56 1/9 nitride /w small .0625" gas port - these are either Mossberg or Montana Rifleman blanks, have not asked AKB for confirmation.

I wrapped paracord over my AKS-74 stock. It heats up stupid fast after a few minutes in the sun, and doing so keeps my cheek from getting burnt, it carries some cord on the rifle and keeps a bandage in the stock. Since taking this pic I`ve tied the ends into better knots.

Was going for a M76-type grip and mostly succeeded. A lot of work.
