Picked up my 2nd Ruger 44 Magnum Carbine, this one made in 1971. Ruger 44 magnum carbines are so focking accurate out to 100 yards, great brush rifle for deer. And a great truck gun for bear when chain sawing wood here in NW MT.
Pictured is a 4-digit 1962 in the background and the new (to me) 1971 in the foreground. Great seller who I met in Great Falls MT today. 98% condition for $700.

And I am the complete idiot who passed on one at a gun show, $500. It was a while back but still. ARRRRGGGGHHHHH.

I spent hours refinishing this AK. I’m not trying to put the scratch on it. So....

S&W 1951 pre model 27 in 98% condition. Bought it from a longtime family friend in the 90's for $175. Think I could get that for it now? Hahahaha I'm joking. Never sell it. He was the guy who worked for my dad and took me shooting when I was a kid.
He was a district commander in King Co back in the day. Think he ran both the fire and sheriff districts, not sure. If he didn't die, I'd ask him.
Pictured is the gun, the badge, and handcuffs he also gave me. Thought about framing it with his obituary.
RIP George.
