Got lucky. A friend saw it at Sound Loan and let me know. I love unique crap like this and couldn't say no!
They seem pretty rare. Couldn't even find any on GB searching finished auctions.

If I owned that, I'd fab my own stock. Would def keep the original stock, but would fab something out of steel for a new stock.

That, my friend, is a Claridge C9 9mm carbine. They were made for only a couple of years in SoCal in the early 90's. Very sci-fi/steampunk. Certainly not common! Pawn shop find.
