Couple more S&Ws this week. Totally undesirable internal lock MIM piles of junk that I pulled out of the local landfill. Rare stocking dealer special four-screw frame 29-8 Mountain Gun: Very common but prettied-up (thanks to Mother's Mag Polish and a Dremel) 627-5 Performance Center:

Polished the cylinder flutes and the barrel flats, then filled the lettering with black paint. It's pretty subtle. It was kind of a homely gun when I brought it home.

Pythons are beautiful, I just wish I had bought one 15 years ago. I'm not paying 3 grand for a nice .357 when I can have one for $800.

Colt Officer's Model .22LR, 1933. Get to test my shade tree gunsmith skills on this one as it was about 75% reliable on its first shoot.
