That’s one nice pistol! I wish I could shoot as good as it looks!

That is a beautiful piece are the sight dovetails as shallow as they look? It appears as if it would not be hard to completely remove them and flatten the top of that slide? But then it would need refinishing again . It is beautiful.

Thought about removing the dovetails because I am comfortable with just a red dot, but I decided to leave them in case I sell it and the new owner wants irons.

A motto (one of many I have) I've declaimed for decades is "If you can't shoot good, look good doing it." :ROFLMAO:

I’m quite pleased to see the final assembly.

The images remind me of fun times with strobes. I sold my Alien Bees shortly after moving up here.

You may want to get tall sights incase your optic fails at a match. If you do, they may require fitting as that color has to be applied .002-.003” instead of the average .001-.002

Damn. Looks like 12 of the rounds didn't even hit the paper.

You might wanna look into that.

Personally, I'm not that much of a competitor anymore that I would care about the optic failing.
I'm in it for fun.
So I doubt I'll ever put iron sights on it; if I sell the slide the next user can decide.

That's the start of my personal paper conservation movement.
I can re-use this target over and over again as long as I keep hitting the existing hole. :bonghit:
