So for those considering or are carrying their firearm for self protection... you really need a quick look and explaination of what's legal... M1Gunr has a good legal post too. http://waguns.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=46

Here's the book for you. You can find it most gun stores and gun ranges. You can also order direct from the author: Dave Workman

I highly recommend this booklet. It covers the basics from a legal and practical sense. Good read. I need to get a newer one for myself.

What a great little coincidence. Dave Workman is also now part of the WGO team. His new section is Workman's Corner

More to consider when carrying openly (people behind me are a constant worry when I find I must do so; situational awareness is a must)

Situational awareness should be practiced anytime you are away from home and even then.

How will this affect people from outside Washington to carry inside Washington per our enhanced CWP's?

Sign of the times (aka technology).

The information is readily available online so the publication ceased some years ago.

I haven’t seen the booklet around for at least 5 years but as always I could be wrong.

So many websites around to compare and keep updated on new laws for all the states.
