Guns in the kitchen/living room/bedroom. I live in the country where the biggest threat are cows.

I've been through several successful home invasions (on the receiving end, to be clear icon_eek ) and a couple more attempted. The successful ones were all a surprise, with NO time to grab a gun in the next room or even from a few feet away. (We lived in some bad areas when I was a kid.)

So yeah, I carry at home.
