I am going into the belly of the beast (downtown Seattle) Friday night. Of course, CC. Without calling the restaurant I am going to, how I find out if they have "under 21 off limits" area? The state liquor board list indicates they have a "lounge". I'm not sure what that means. http://liq.wa.gov/publications/Public_R ... -30-13.xlsShouldn't the state publish the specific info somewhere? Just a yes/no.

Do you really need the state to do that for you? We already have enough government intrusion. Do it yourself.

The "lounge" will almost certainly be marked off limits to minors. You cannot carry in there.
The restaurant itself is open unless the staff ask you to leave.
General rule of thumb: If they have a sign that says "No minors beyond this point", you shouldn't carry your gun past there.

I am free because I say I am. My freedom is not dependent on any government benefit or piece of legislation. My rights are inherent in the fact that I was born a sovereign being. They are non-negotiable. The government can list them and protect them, but my rights are not theirs to give away.

The lounge area being 21+ is required by law to have a physical boundary around it - typically waist high. It is usually around the bar. Anytime I go into an establishment like that I typically tell my GF "We cannot sit at the bar," and we don't have any issues. Pretty simple...not sure why you're making a big deal about it.
Andddddd...you could easily call and ask them.

Yes/No As to firearm carry? They already do that via RCW 9.41.300.

This is Seattle. He is going to call and ask, they are going to tell him no guns anywhere.
There will be a green signed area. Just as what is the bar section.

There are SOME questionably zoned "lounges" I have seen, but ultimately was my fault I sat there - HEY the chairs were overwhelmingly comfy looking and feeling-, Gameworks being one. Have never been asked to leave anywhere. Yeah, either call or walk in and see.

All he has to do is ask if kids can come in for dinner, no mention of gun is required. There is a restaurant by my house that is open to all ages, but turns into 21 only after 9 pm which is stated right on the door. Like root said they will be clueless, and think that just because alcohol is served that they will say no. Some clueless restaurants even though they are family friendly will post the under 21 sign at the entrance to the building, and not actually at the bar area. One time at the Outback I sat in the wrong section with my kids, while OC. The waitress politely, and quietly moved us to the OC section. Carry on.

Call and ask, my friend and I are having dinner. He is under 21, are we limited to specific seating?

Yeah, I'm just trying to plan my evening and make sure there is an area that I can carry in. That's a good pretext to call with. Thanks Josh! I know what the green signs look like and what a fenced off bar area looks like. The entire place could be 21 and over, how would I know? It isn't Red Robin. I just figured it would be on the liqour board site somewhere whether they had an area defined or not, seeing as they "classify" it "(d) That portion of an establishment classified by the state liquor control board as off-limits to persons under twenty-one years of age" Thanks for the replies. And concealed is concealed etc.

Yes/No As to firearm carry? They already do that via RCW 9.41.300. I meant the info specific to a given liquor licensee classification by the state.

Their "lounge" area was not signed as per the RCW. Saw several zombies on the streets. I hate Seattle.
