I have seen people bitching about the little hoops that they have to jump through to get WA and Oregon CPLs. Well, as some of you know, I currently live in CA and will be moving up there. Here is what I have to deal with when getting a CCW here, its long but its an eye opener!!

I will begin by saying its a bit like a :trainwreck:

Hey listen, if I want to bitch about the city of Redmond taking the full 30 days to give me my shall-issue license, I have every right to do so!

But seriously . . . HOLY COW. I am SO grateful that we don't need to deal with that BS in Washington!

Welcome to Washington, land of the mostly free! :patriot:

CA should be re-developed like the island of Manhattan in the movie "Escape from NY". Build a huge containment around the state and let the "sane" leave. No gangsters, illegals, or politicians, allowed out. Then close the gates and let those who remain "work it out".

The Kitsap Sheriff's office in Silverdale can have it in your hands in as little as 30 minutes. The law says they have up to 30 days for residents, because back when the law was passed it could take that long. But in the computer age 5 days is more than reasonable.

I will not even travel in the People's Republic of Kalifornia anymore, so their illegal gun laws do not effect me anymore.

That's inspiring, and it's great that they'll do that.

It pisses me off that some departments will (deliberately??) take up to the full 30 days. That's just wrong for a "shall issue" state.

They have a finger print scanner and that lets them shoot them to the FBI and get and answer back ASAP.

Had mine in hand before they were even done finger printing me. Janet at LESA needs a hug. She's a great lady.
