I was at the Sportsmans Expo in Portland last weekend, was talking with some guy at a booth for a 'multi state concealed carry class' about what they offer. Now I was wearing my RSO shirt for the local range that I am a RSO for.
He was telling me that if I have a CPL and am carrying and my wife is in the car and does not have a CPL, that since she is married to me and considered to 'have access to me and my possessions', that I was committing a felony. I asked him to explain that since I've not heard of that BS. He repeated himself said that if my son is in the car with just me, since he is not married he is considered not to have access. Pure BS. When he mentioned it was a federal crime I said bye and walked away.
