So today I was in Seattle for about 5 hours OC'ing. Me and my wife were just walking around downtown just taking in the sights. No trouble at all whatsoever! Saw one LEO and I greeted him with a good evening and he did the same. Yea there was a look here and there but overall it was good. Not the way I expected it to go considering the fact there's so many anti's

Most people in Seattle are pretty oblivious...I doubt more than half of them realized you were carrying.

True, I kinda figured that.
Also, I saw a couple signs by the waterfront stating that it was illegal to have a firearm there. I am well aware that state law trumps local ordnances, but if a LEO shows up can he detain you if you're carrying there or is the city just not aware of state preemption?

Hey there buddy. Those signs there have no merit. They are bunk. There's a thread over on opencarry.org (WA section of course) about those very signs. I have walked through there OC with no problems. I wasn't up on my video camera or anything, but it's always at the ready whether OC or not.
As said above, 85% or more are oblivious to the fact that you have a visible piece at your side. I've received more positive comments (8 to 1!) than anything ill.
However one time over at Sweet Iron Waffles (foo foo but delicious) I created quite the stir..
Only place that OC, or any carry, that has been a problem was at Seattle center. They check your bags at the Space Needle, and guy found my spare mag. I had to go back to the car to deposit (was with gf and kiddo.. otherwise, nope.).

Yup, Seattle cannot ban firearms from parks. They can only ban the discharge of them.

When I was at Pike Place Market a few years ago, there was a no firearms sign at the park above the market. I took a picture of it and sent it off to the City's Park dept with a request they revise the sign to match state law. Blanket response back, never got changed.

Those signs are perfectly legal for private businesses to post and if you ignore you can be trespassed. If you are in a public area or park, good to go. Best heed the signs posted by the businesses though unless you want to be escorted OUT, possibly by a police officer.

Chan v Seattle is the court case that fixed the parks issue. All public parks (city, county, state, federal) allow carry. Buildings are off limits on federal lands.

You can only be charged with trespassing if they ask you to leave and you refuse.
