Hi All,

Anyone applied for a Florida CWL recently? If so, where did you do the finger printing? Seems like King Co and Bellevue/Issaquah PD's refer to a 3rd party now....but Florida needs law enforcement agency to take the prints?

I haven't applied for a FL license, but the WSP has an office in Oly where they will do the fingerprinting for you.

Would be quite a drive but I got mine done at Puyallup PD. Was a little worried as the young explorer program kids took my prints and filled out the paperwork but mailed it in and got mine no problem. There was a small fee and I did have to call head to schedule a time for one of the days that they do them. Good luck

OK thanks for the replies. It looks like Seattle, Lynnwood and others will process cards for non-city residents....

Off the top of my head.....Kent PD, Lynnwood PD, Renton PD, Bothell PD.

I ended up going to Seattle PD. They will take anyone, regardless of where they live in the state. $7 per card. At 10:30am there was no wait...recommended.
