Are minors allowed in that area? Or is it a 21-and-over area?

I'll check up this weekend, i know it isnt a hard liquor bar. I'm 99% sure everyone is allowed. Are we still shackled by that stuff when we pretty much did away with liquor stores?

If it's a 21-and-over area, then you can't legally carry there.

If it's open to minors, then you can legally carry there. Of course, if the owner has a no-gun policy then he/she can also legally kick you out if you violate it.

The law has nothing specifically to do with liquor stores...
Rcw 9.41.300:
(d) That portion of an establishment classified by the state liquor and cannabis board as off-limits to persons under twenty-one years of age;

Any establishment with an age restricted area (could be the whole store), that area is a no-go for legal carry.

Also, at least in this state, liquor stores were not 21+ only- I went in with my folks as a kid, and my kids have gone in rather than sit in the car. Minors are not allowed in places alcohol is sold and consumed (ie bars), but stores do not prohibit them just because you can buy liquor there...

I used to OC in my local Liquor store. Minors can't go into a liquor store unless accompanied by their parent. So my rule of thumb is if I can take my kid in with me then your good to carry.

I think it not only has to be No minors allowed, but also posted as such. If they don’t post a sign then you wouldn’t know, even if minors aren’t allowed.
