"Untraceable firearm" means any firearm manufactured after July 1, 2019, that is not an antique firearm and that cannot be traced by law enforcement by means of a serial number affixed to the firearm by a federally licensed manufacturer or importer.
Possession does not appear to be the issue.... That is still just a definition of an untraceable firearm. Does it state that possession of one is illegal? JFC.....No one has said that possession is illegal. As far as Pablo's comment, it would appear that they are changing the rules as of July 1st.

But nobody here is a "federally licensed manufacturer or importer".......................

Then there is reason to think it needs a serial number, and Pablo's comment all it says is you can't manufacture it with the intent to sell. That is already a federal law.

You can't own an "undetectable" you can own an "untraceable".
Remember when a P80 is shipped here, it's not a firearm.

Remember when a P80 is shipped here, it's not a firearm. And you can't build one with the intent to sell, which is already against federal law. So has anything really changed?

We do!
For the record I stamped a serial number on mine, as I do carry it at times, and I want to be able to track it if it ends up in an evidence locker for a while.
Were'nt for that I never would have.
