I have a friend who doesn't have a current license. Can he purchase a pistol with a US passport? I figure you need something that establishes residence, but I don't know what is acceptable? |

Passports show residence in the US, but not in any City, State, which is what is needed for the FTR that goes to their local LEA. With a passport and a utility bill he can go get an ID printed at the DOL tomorrow. |

Must be a Government utility. For example, PSE will not work, but Thurston County PUD will. |
