Does anyone know the current wait time for a replacement card in King county?

Original copies must be furnished within 60 days of application according to RCW 9.41.070.

I am guessing the same goes for replacement CPLs. King County usually sends them out within 30 days.

Remember, you must have your card on your person if you carry concealed or carry within a vehicle per RCW 9.41.050.

Max penalty for not having your permit on your person while carrying concealed is $250 fine.

Thanks. I have not carried since I lost the card in a recent move and I did not even notice it until I made plans to purchase a new pistol. Is there any provision for purchase by a cpl holder who does not actually have the card in their possession or is it the way of the masses?

Yes, you must have a valid hard copy to buy a handgun to take it home same day. Drivers licence address can be updated online (free), because the FFL can access that. CPL, no.
